Surgical Instruments Team of CDI on the request of Chairman SIMAP arranged a meeting between members of SIMAP and UET, on November 4th, regarding R&D challenges faced by the Surgical Instruments industry of Sialkot, specifically the need to develop an alternative to Trichloroethylene used in the cleaning of surgical instruments.Dr. Fatima appreciated the initiative of SIMAP to focus on Research and Development and look into ways to develop an alternative of Trichloroethylene, a growing need of the industry. Prof Dr. Tanveer Iqbal, Coordinator KSK, UET has ensured their zealous efforts to provide a substitute to Trichloroethylene as soon as possible.
